A Person I Wouldn’t Hire – Ever

The copier repairman griped about the copier, the copier company, the coworkers, the traffic, and any other subject. Since the copier was just outside my office, I heard all the complaints. I was one of the copier company’s customers, and had heard the repairman’s gripes several times. He was a naturally upset man. (more…)

A Leader Who Develops

Two questions arise when one thinks about being a leader who develops. Does this mean that the leader who develops works on self-development? Or does it mean that’s a leader who develops others? Change Your Mind

“If you want to be somebody else, If you’re tired of losing battles with yourself, If you want to be somebody else, Change Your Mind.”

Those lines by the band Sister Hazel provide a framework for my thoughts today. Over the past weeks, several people have told me their goals, their desires, and also their failures, their doubts, their fears. I have some UP phrases that I find helpful when I need to change my mind and become a better person.
